The host of the event, Béla Rácz, explained why the Jobbik politicians were not invited to the event as follows: on the one hand, Jobbik did not sign the Declaration signed by the six opposition parties and more than forty NGOs in 2019, and on the other hand

the organizers experienced no substantial change in Jobbik's policy.

According to Rácz, "I don't see any gesture from Jobbik that would appease the Roma community" .

Károly Búza, one of the Roma civil experts invited by the organizers, spoke "Jobbik question" He told me that

"We are afraid, we are afraid of Jobbik,

because everyone remembers when people from Jobbik marched in settlements inhabited by Roma" . Búza added that fears and threats are still decisive today: "Roma are portrayed as criminals, they portray us as parasites."
