On Sunday the 25th, the XII. Nations Without Borders Cooking Competition. Over the years, the event of the Gastronomy Association of Vojvodina has expanded to include a cooking competition for politicians, mayors, local community presidents and elected representatives, which is being held for the tenth time, and for the eighth time, members of the press don white aprons at the media grilling and cooking competition.
The concept of the competition is very simple: each team prepares the food that is characteristic of its own region, of which it is proud, and which it considers the most delicious. While the food is simmering in the cauldrons, the members of the cooking teams who do not have a wooden spoon or those who only come as an audience can have fun at the accompanying events.
The competition starts with a parade at 8 a.m. on the market square. The fire will be lit at 9 o'clock. The musical programs start at 11.30. First, Klaudia Boldizsár and the Exclusive Bend will entertain the audience. From 1 p.m., members of the village and neighborhood cultural associations and the Bartók Youth Dance Ensemble will perform. This year's star guest is Csaba Szegedi , whose show starts at 2 p.m.
During the day, you can visit the handicraft, unloading and goods fair, but the pálinka and wine tasting will not be missed either. Visitors are welcomed with mutton and beef stew prepared by master chefs all day.
