In a statement, the Volner Party presented their position on the primitive manipulation of the once radical right-wing, now, according to their assessment, already Bolshevik-like society. Jobbik, in name only, tried to play the trick of "I brought it but I didn't" in relation to the Pride parade.

"János Volner already hinted in a previous program of Pesti TV that the former right-wing party, which had seen better days, has already merged into the left-wing bloc to such an extent that it cannot avoid participating in the parade of extreme liberals, Pride.

But there was a small snag: the rainbow procession did not fit into the image of Jakab, who plays a communist dockworker leader from Marseilles at the end of the 19th century, and pretends to be tough. That's why he resorted to the ancient trick known from folk tales, "I brought a gift but I didn't." The party sent a representative of the district municipality, playing the role of a punching bag with no luck.

Miklós Bereczki was torn apart by the commentators: the liberals because the party voted for the anti-pedophile law and "how dare he go out like that", and the right-wingers evaluated it as Jobbik's total capitulation to the left-liberal forces.

We have bad news for Jakabék. This "I brought it but I didn't" tactic may have worked in folk tales, against kings who were supposed to be defeated, but it will not work with the Hungarian electorate. They know exactly where you stand today, how many hundreds of thousands of people you have insulted the faith and decades of selfless work. And you will be reminded of this in 2022 as well!"
