Brussels is clearly trying to punish Hungary for LGBTQ propaganda.
There has already been several reports on the above, and now you can see the document entitled "The fundamental values of the European Union: the Commission takes legal action against Hungary and Poland due to the violation of the fundamental rights of LGBTIQ persons", which clearly shows the essence. As you can see in the figure below, they even made it clear in the body of the text that they believe that LGBTQ content has been banned in Hungary, which is a lie, since adults can consume such content at any time.

On July 15, the European Commission launched infringement procedures against Hungary, clearly due to the suppression of LGBTQ propaganda. Brussels also objected that the Hungarian authorities called on the publisher of the book Everyone's Fairytale to indicate on the cover that the book shows "behavior that differs from traditional gender roles".
Back in June, the Parliament voted on the new package of laws that further strengthens the protection of children, which was immediately attacked by the domestic and international left under the influence of the LGBTQ lobby. However, the legislation only guarantees one thing for the youngest: a safe childhood. Pursuant to the new regulations, a pedophile register searchable by name will be created, and the relevant parts of the Criminal Code will also be tightened.
The legislation aims to provide protection to the youngest in other areas of life, so in the future it will not be allowed for those under the age of 18 to have sexual development sessions, advertisements and various programs aimed at gender reassignment and the promotion of homosexuality.
The European Commission is trying to get involved in this, which is strange because the Act on the Basic Conditions and Certain Limitations of Economic Advertising has until now prohibited the activity detailed above, the Child Protection Act merely amended it. In Hungarian, the EU bureaucrats are trying to make false accusations this time, just as they did during the migration debate.
The goal is clearly the same as it was then: to force Hungary to its knees in order to change its position, this time regarding the protection of children.
Although it is quite clear from the above that the pressure of the international LGBTQ lobby is behind the latest coordinated attack, the domestic left does not admit this. Instead, they started obfuscation, the left-wing politicians and their media talk about everything, but not the main point!
By the way, Brussels sided with the LGBTQ propagandists so much that it directly states in the text that the display of LGBTQ content is not harmful to the well-being of children and is in line with their interests.
