Even the quoted title of ATV is very annoying and hurtful on our biggest national holiday! It seems that it hurts the left that Hungarians celebrate the country's birthday!
According to them, we should all shut ourselves up between the four walls on August 20, although the epidemiological data do not give us a reason for this.
It is clear that the delta virus variant has already appeared here as an uninvited guest, as it has in several European countries. However, the left forgets that some Western European countries relaxed the restrictions at the beginning of the summer in such a way that they risked the lives of their citizens.
Because they really didn't like us, Hungarians.
The government then correctly decided to lift the restrictions - albeit gradually. And even though the leftists were shouting at the opening of the terraces, the outbreak of the epidemic they had been waiting for did not happen.
In the same way that their fear and reprimand during the European Championship were unjustified, when they couldn't help hyperventilating at the same time on social media, seeing the march of thousands of Hungarian fans from Hősök tere to Puskás Aréna.
But they didn't give up even after they fell flat on their faces, as the numbers contradicted their desires. Ferenc Falus (cast down) stated that "we don't need mass events without restrictions, but precautions" . For this, Népszava had the audacity to choose as an illustration an event in which the fans push together for the success of the Hungarian national team.
This is also outrageous because the former chief medical officer and former candidate for mayor of the left says all this when people are not only eagerly awaiting the programs on August 20, but also the arrival of Pope Francis at the International Eucharistic Congress .
On the other hand, the "no one else" index.hu calls the events to be held on the anniversary of the founding of the state, where Hungarians will celebrate together, with noble simplicity "giga party".
The left can only attack these programs almost as usual, with the political ulterior motive of seeing as many sour and bitter people as possible in Hungary, so that they can once again Viktor Orbán for everything.
At the same time, Falus for some reason forgot to harass people before mass events important to the left, such as the Pride parade.
But let's not forget the demonstrations organized by left-wing politicians, when a few hundred people were taken out to play revolutionary games on the hottest days because of the Fudan University and Pegasus cases. Also, let's not forget the support of the health workers.
I would like to add that there were not nearly as many people at these events as at the fan march , but that should be the problem of the left.
Because of this, even at these events, people were still crowding each other's necks, so the risk of the virus exploding also existed.
Tibor Attila Nagy did not even mention these in the ATV studio, instead expressing his displeasure at the fact that the government lifted the remaining restrictions for the holidays. What is frustrating is that the analyst does not even mention that Hungarians want to have a good time on national holidays. According to him, the government issued the decree purely out of political interest.
We also remember his words when he advised the opposition to use the deaths caused by the coronavirus in their attacks against the government.
Even now, he firmly asserts that the government is taking these measures only because of the elections, and he believes that precisely because of this, the restrictions will not be as severe as they were in the spring.
Pék Szabolcs , an analyst at the Compass Institute, gently called it a "circus" that the government provides the opportunity for Hungarians to feel good in their country.
András Hont, who cannot be accused of being pro-government, also drew attention to the left's double standards on his social media page:
"I was there at the Pride parade and I saw with my own eyes the many people (including many foreigners) on the streets of Budapest who for some reason were not worried about catching the coronavirus. However, even at the mentioned demonstrations , the opposition voters could freely join the crowd and march. They could, because in a dictatorship this is also allowed.
Ákos Hadházy proudly showed on his social media page that a few hundred people were able to demonstrate freely in the streets, also without wearing masks, in the Pegasus case created by the opposition.
We did not hear that the "village downcast Franciscans" said a modest thank you to those who had vaccinated themselves, thereby ensuring a calm presence at these events.
To say this to the Hungarian government or to Viktor Orbán personally would be too far-fetched an expectation.
