One patient died and another 104 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus, koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Friday, highlighting that 5,668,993 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, of which 5,498,222 have also received the second dose of the vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: since the beginning of the epidemic, the number of identified infected people has increased to 810,316, and the number of deaths has increased to 30,038. The number of those cured is 765,952.
83 coronavirus patients are being treated in the hospital, 14 of them are on ventilators. The number of active infected people is 14,326.
There are 1,085 people in official home quarantine, the number of samples taken is 6,423,992.
It was announced: the delta variant of the coronavirus is spreading in several European countries and even in Hungary. They added: the spread of the delta virus mutant poses the greatest risk to those who have not yet been vaccinated, so they ask that those who have not yet been vaccinated do so.
