The Heltai Gáspár Library Foundation, the Szarkaláb Folk Dance Group and the SzINT Cultural Association are organizing, for the twenty-third time, the St. Stephen's Day International Minority Folk Dance Meeting, which aims to commemorate the founding of the Hungarian Christian state and our state-founding holy king, the Hungarians of the Carpathian Basin. communities, as well as the folk music and folk dance traditions of European minorities, ethnic groups and regional cultures.
Guests will come to this year's event from Cluj-Napoca, Cluj-Napoca and Fehér counties and Hungary to Cluj-Napoca, Felvinc, Bonchida, Szamosújvár, Nagyenyed, Magyarfenes and Miriszló.
It will be organized for the fifth time on August 18-20. between the Heltai Folk Days, where a children's concert by the Magos band, children's performances by the Bahorka Társulat, a craft and playhouse with live music and evening dance halls/folk pubs await those interested.
The 23rd Saint Stephen's Day Folk Dance Meeting in Cluj- Napoca will take place on Tuesday, August 20, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in Farkas Street. The procession starts at 17:00 from the corner of Egyetem utca, and then a joint dance takes place in front of the Reformed church.
