Agriculture is a strategic sector and plays a decisive role in the rapid development of the countryside, which is why more resources are provided for domestic agriculture than ever before. The government made a historic decision when it increased the domestic co-financing of the Rural Development Program from the previous 17.5 to 80 percent. 4,265 billion forints will be allocated to rural development in the next cycle, as much money will be spent on rural development in one year as in the previous seven years in total.
