One patient died, and another 123 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus, koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Thursday, highlighting that 5,693,214 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, 5,502,086 of whom have already received the second dose of the vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: since the start of the epidemic, the number of identified infected people has increased to 810,781, and the number of those who have died has increased to 30,046. The number of those cured is 769,777.
76 coronavirus patients are being treated in the hospital, 11 of them are on ventilators. The number of active infected people is 10,958.
There are 879 people in official home quarantine, the number of samples taken is 6,467,683.
It was announced: the delta variant of the coronavirus is spreading in several European countries and even in Hungary, so they ask that anyone who has not yet been vaccinated should do so.
