Brussels attacked Hungary over the child protection law. He wants to interfere in the lives of Hungarian families because he does not accept that our country rejects LGBTQ propaganda aimed at our children. Lungo Drom considers it unacceptable that Brussels once again violates Hungary's sovereignty, constantly attacks our country and wants to impose its fallen liberal ideology on us, writes the "Lungo Drom" National Gypsy Interest Protection and Civic Association in a statement.
We consider it an unforgivable sin that they try to distort the image of the family, the most important value for Gypsy families.
The care and physical and mental protection of children is a fundamental task of every society. The main protection is provided by the parents, and the work of the parents must be supported by the community and institution, kindergarten, school where the child spends his everyday life.
It is an example that Hungarian children are also entitled to special protection, and we consider it important that their right to physical, mental and moral care is guaranteed.
Raising and educating children is the sole right and responsibility of parents, therefore Lungo Drom supports the Child Protection Act, stands up for the protection of children, and does everything to ensure that the Roma community participates in large numbers in the referendum on the law.
We call on the left to stand up for the protection of Hungarian children and families! We raise our children, not Brussels! - they write in their statement.
