The next highlight of the series of events will be the presentation of the Sándor Wekerle economics and scientific lifetime achievement awards and the scientific commemorative conference on September 17 on the theme "Successful crisis management in the 21st century".

This year, the lifetime achievement awards will be presented for the fifth time to university lecturers and economists who have demonstrated outstanding performance in the field of finance and economics.

The previous awardees: Csaba Lentner, Andrea Bencsik, Magdolna Csath, and Gusztáv Báger, as well as József Somai, Sándor Somogyi, Ákos Péter Bod and Erzsébet Pogány, who made a significant contribution to the education and development of economics in the Carpathian Basin.
