The National Association of Large Families awarded the Mészáros Group with the Gold grade of the Nursery Award for the summer holidays of large families living in difficult situations. The recognition was received by Lőrinc Mészáros from the president of the NOE at the organization's festive general assembly, Magyar Hírlap reported on the event.

Last year and this summer, almost 1,200 single-parent and large families living in difficult situations were able to take a vacation thanks to the Mészáros Group. In 2020, families in need were able to relax in the Hunguest Hotel Freya in Zalakaros, Hunguest Hotel Erkel in Gyula, and Balatontourist's Füred, Révfülöp, and Akali campsites, and this year in the mobile and holiday homes of the Hunguest Hotel Erkel in Gyula and Balatontourist's Balatonfüred and Révfülöp campsites. The 400 million HUF cost of the holiday was covered by the Mészáros Group.

The National Association of Large Families has been active in the interests of large families for three and a half decades, and one of the biggest recognitions of the NGO is the Nursery Award for those who financially support large families. This year, the NOE presidency awarded the Gold degree of recognition to the Mészáros Group, among others, and Lőrinc Mészáros accepted the recognition on behalf of the company group at the award ceremony organized in the hall of Szent Margit High School. During the commendation, thanks to the Mészáros Group, families were able to take part in the free vacation, many of whom had not been able to go on vacation together for years or decades, so this experience was once in a lifetime for many children .

At the same time as the award, the Mészáros Group decided on new donations: for the Hungarian Premature and Newborn Rescue Foundation, which takes care of the rescue and transport of an average of 4,500 babies every year, with 10 million forints, the Heart for Heart Foundation, which promotes the recovery of heart transplant patients, with 10 million forints, the disabled and the Egyutt Sérült Emberekért Alapítvány, which takes care of young people, is supported with HUF 5 million by the construction companies of the Mészáros Group, Fejér B.Á.L., V-Híd and ZÁÉV.
