Five patients died and another 289 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus. So far, 5,862,458 people have been vaccinated in Hungary, of which 5,579,231 have received the second and 626,000 have already received the third dose of vaccine.
The number of infected people identified in Hungary increased to 818,520. The number of those who died rose to 30,141, and the number of those who recovered rose to 780,740. The number of active infected people is 7,639. 401 coronavirus patients are being cared for in the hospital, 45 of them are on ventilators. There are 4,302 people in official home quarantine, the number of samples taken is 6,815,778.
