These data were published this morning by the information page Koronavirus.gov.hu. The number of those vaccinated is 5,869,259, of which 5,600,425 have already received their second vaccination, and 667,000 have already received their third vaccination. 526 new infected people were confirmed, increasing the total number of identified infected people to 819,547 since the beginning of the epidemic. 2 patients died, so the number of those who died rose to 30,145.
The number of recovered people is constantly increasing, currently 781,442 people, and the number of active infected people has risen to 7,960 people. 411 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 48 of them are on ventilators.
The new diseases are caused by the delta virus mutant, and the unvaccinated are at greatest risk, so we ask them to register and get vaccinated as soon as possible. Less than 1% of those vaccinated become ill, and the course of the disease is usually much milder than those vaccinated. The majority of the Hungarian population has registered for vaccination and has already taken it, those who have not yet can still do so on the website www.vakcinainfo.gov.hu.
