Everything in the play turned out as planned by Ferenc Gyurcsány - Máté Kocsis, Fidesz faction leader, evaluated the first round of the opposition primary in his Facebook post on Thursday.
The leader of the faction of the larger ruling party wrote on his social media page: Ferenc Gyurcsány "crushed" Momentum, the LMP, and also destroyed Jobbik, and he "exterminated the MSZP a long time ago." He also noted: it is obvious that Péter Márki-Zay would only be "breakfast" for the leader of the left.
According to Máté Kocsis, it has now been definitively decided that there is no new momentum, no new faces, no closed past, no other politics on the left, because "the feeble attempt to renew the left has failed miserably". This was doomed from the start, only the participants did not realize it due to the lack of political skills, he added.
He emphasized: Ferenc Gyurcsány is the "sole ruler", and under his leadership the "people of the failed past" will return to the left for the next decade.
The leader of the Fidesz faction believes that Ferenc Gyurcsány overturned everything, liquidated the little ones, and basically left only two options: either his wife will be his candidate for prime minister, or his "puppet from the capital", who was already on his payroll 17 years ago. and who has servilely carried out his will ever since.
"So let the drama continue on the left, but at the end there will definitely be only one name: Ferenc Gyurcsány. The task remains for us again to defeat him next spring, let's get ready!" - wrote Máté Kocsis.
