The Romanian Association of Hungarian Pedagogues (RMPSZ) is the partner of the Hungarian government in the construction of kindergartens in St. Petersburg. In his statement to the public media, Burus Siklódi Botond, the president of the RMPSZ, also mentioned that the municipality of Balázsfalv supported the initiative and agreed to operate the institution if the kindergarten is built. He also added that HUF 150 million will be allocated for the construction and equipment of a kindergarten suitable for feeding the children.
Burus Siklódi Botond, president of the RMPSZ, said in his welcome speech: the Hungarian government will provide the tools and money for the investment, but "the locals will have to breathe life into the walls". The president also believed that the investment proves the will to live on the small Hungarian island.
In Vajasdon, which is adjacent to Gyulafehérvár, the state secretary handed over an afternoon employer for preschool and school children, which also functions as a cultural center for the small community. The construction was supported by the Hungarian state with HUF 12.2 million.
In the 2011 census, 37 percent of the 806 enthusiastic residents of Vajasdon, which administratively belongs to the Felsőgáld municipality, declared themselves Hungarian.
