There is no written trace of Gergely Karácsony having done any work at the Prime Minister's Office during the Gyurcsány government's employment.

This was revealed in connection with the fact that Mónika Dunai addressed an immediate question to the government in the parliament yesterday. In his answer, Miklós Soltész also recalled Gyurcsány's recent statement in the second debate between the prime minister candidates - which can hardly be called well-intentioned - about what the candidates of the six-party opposition alliance did in 2006, when the mass demonstrations that erupted as a result of Gyurcsány's speech in Ószöd and lasted for months were beaten with total police violence apart. "Gergő was a former advisor to the government," he reminded the audience, as if he wanted to spread the responsibility for the atrocity among those involved.

Soltész emphasized that Karácsony received HUF 350,000 per month for this application between 2002 and 2008. We can remember that the minimum wage was around HUF 50,000 at that time. This would now mean - projected on next year's planned minimum wage - that today he could have received a salary of approximately HUF 1.4 million for this work. According to Mónika Dunai, she basically had to "monitor the events and consult".

However, this is not the only reason why we can safely put the work in quotation marks. Soltész said: "The Ministry of Justice sought the contract. It turned out that there is no trace of a written performance. His boss at the time, Ferenc Gyurcsány, and the current one, Ferenc Gyurcsány, should be asked about his work."

Therefore, Karácsony was not a labor hero even then, during his prime ministership he successfully spent a decade in such a way that there is no trace of him having done any work there. However, he never forgot to collect his salary.

As we know, during this time he taught at Corvinus without a doctorate or language exam. There, he received HUF 218,000 per month, of which, of course, he admitted only half of it, as is typical for him. In fact, he even worked or researched at Median to collect his salary from there. His character is clearly shown by the fact that he consistently listed his non-existent doctorate in his biography, as well as his non-existent language exam.

However, the investigation by the Office of Education revealed that in the absence of these, he would not have been an assistant professor, and what's more, he would not have been able to teach at Corvinus University. And of course he couldn't have pocketed tens of millions of forints over the years here as well.

It is saddening that the great socialists first nominated this unbelievably linky, work-avoiding, but self-interested fake card-maker, taking advantage of his top connections, to be the first person in Zugló, and then, after he managed to bury them, as mayor. And the people of Budapest elected him because they believed in the trust placed in him by the MSZP.

Since then, however, you can see that the many traffic jams make life difficult for both the people of Budapest and those coming from the agglomeration, you can see that during his two-year reign, Budapest only became dirtier than ever and the public safety of the capital is constantly deteriorating.

It is also disheartening that while most of the people were fighting the epidemic, he mostly dealt with the primary election campaign.

He's still doing it now. He bargains with Péter Márki-Zay so that he becomes the Prime Minister candidate of the Gyurcsányists. The degraded state of Budapest under his hands clearly shows what Hungary would be like if he were the prime minister?

We could see that Karácsony was never interested in work and people - for whose "interest" he still fulfills the public trust function and wants even more than that. All the better for power and free living.
