Not only did the left-wing government bankrupt Hungary, which was accompanied by the withdrawal of the 13th monthly pension, but human rights were also trampled on, said the minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office on Thursday at the press conference held in the Szolnok Gallery, after the National Legal Protection Service and the Civil Zöfgags Forum's traveling exhibition "Freedom drowned in blood".

Gergely Gulyás stated: in the fall of 2006, the 50th anniversary of the 1956 revolution was not left as a beautiful and worthy national commemoration; people remember the unprecedented police and state brutality ordered and carried out by the then government against peaceful protesters.

Here is the opportunity to commemorate the sixty-fifth anniversary of the 1956 revolution on October 23! said the minister.

He said that they are confident that it will not happen again in Hungary, that demonstrators who disagree with the government but are otherwise peaceful and abide by the laws "shoot their eyes out and use brutal violence against them". They hope that the country will not have a left-wing government that destroys all achievements and bankrupts the country in five or six years, and causes incredible damage to the economy and people's lives, he said, adding that for this they also ask the the help of the citizens of Szolnok in next year's parliamentary election.

According to Gergely Gulyás, Szolnok is one of the cities that benefited to a great extent from the fact that "the last decade was perhaps the best of the last century". Szolnok has developed and is on the verge of explosive development, he said, noting that if the M4 road is completed, it will connect the city to the blood circulation of the country in a completely different way. The unemployment and employment data are also very good in Szolnok, the city is constantly developing thanks to the good cooperation and lobbying activities of Mayor Ferenc Szalay (Fidesz-KDNP) and Mária Kállai, member of parliament from Fidesz.

He emphasized that the Hungarian government continues to see cities with county rights as partners of paramount importance. The regions can only be successful if the cities with county rights can fulfill the extremely important role that is assigned to them in the performance of public tasks, for example in the fields of education, employment, and health care. The development resources that are now available with a growth of over 6 percent this year and an expected growth of over 6 percent next year are more than enough for the government to support and help the ambitious plans that the city has outlined for its own future. you know, he said.

Mária Kállai said: she trusts that the traveling exhibition serves as a reminder of what the Hungarian people reject. He thanked the government for supporting the development needs of Szolnok and its region in every case, and thanked him for the ongoing significant investments. It is worth living in Hungary, in the Carpathian Basin, "the community prospers with perspective, hard, determined work and values, the present and I am sure the next generation too," he said.

Ferenc Szalay highlighted: the country's economy is developing, the security of livelihood has improved. We must continue on this path, which creates jobs and preserves the safety of families, he said.

The mayor announced that with the four-lane road 4, many opportunities will come to Szolnok. He said that the technical handover of the four-lane road 4 bypassing Szolnok in the north will take place around Christmas, and it will be possible to open it to traffic with a new bridge in the spring. The construction of the Sánda bypass and the Csáklya útí bridge will also serve to further reduce traffic, he said. He spoke about the launch of the Szolnok 2030 program within the framework of the Creative Region program. Szolnok's ten-year development strategy has HUF 335 billion in resources. In cooperation with the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, this development affecting the city's railway engineering, chemical industry, agriculture and tourism "can bring unprecedented development to Szolnok", he informed.

About the traveling exhibition, the truck presenting the "Gyurcsány product", he said: "this period cannot come back".
