European civilians are preparing for a historic step, this was revealed at the third two-day meeting of the EuCET (European Union Civil Cooperation Council) in Budapest.
According to the surveys, the majority of European citizens would like to see the Union as a community of strong nation-states, and respect for national values and traditions is important , but this is an undesirable aspiration for the Brussels elite.
The civil cooperation forum started on the basis of the Polish-Hungarian initiative has now expanded considerably, the current congress was attended by representatives of 14 European countries, including Hungary : Poland, Italy, Spain, Albania, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Austria, Germany, Delegates from Finland, Romania and Sweden gave presentations at the meeting.
On behalf of the host CÖF-CÖKA, the founder-president greeted the participants and explained the purpose and program of EuCET. His speech is reproduced below:
"First of all, I would like to express my thanks to those who want to shape the future of Europe with their intellectual and voluntary work and take a role at our 3rd congress.
Since 2019, the aim of the European Union Civil Cooperation Council is to forge Europe's citizens into unity to preserve and defend Christian national conservative values. The center of this work is the awareness of the principle of popular sovereignty. The tradition-based culture of the nations of Europe as a whole makes up our millennia-old civilization that is envied by many and can be continuously built, which distinguishes it from other continents.
More and more radical attempts were launched against this and are aimed at eliminating it, which are equivalent to the "Casus belli". Ideological battles for political interests are taking place in the We can still stop their empire-building goals.
The future of Europe is in the hands of our people, using the lessons of the past. It is the duty of our nations to protect our hard-earned freedom, which requires many blood sacrifices. The protection of the smallest communities in society, families, can be considered the cornerstone of democracy. They are the starting points of subsidiarity. The fall of the European Union is unacceptable, because we would be left behind in the economic and social construction competition of the continents, but the scrutiny and reform of the institutional system is inevitable.
Let us boldly state that an institution that speculates on the creation of a single superstate in Europe is striving for the modern colonization of our nations and peoples. He declared war on Great Britain (Brexit), while he wants to bring Poland and Hungary to their knees. Following this path, the commonwealth will fall apart.
In my opinion, the European Parliament's group of party factions cannot decide on the sovereign destiny of the citizens of nations, therefore the institutionalization of local referendums and popular consultations , as well as the decision-making authority of local parliaments in the creation and adoption of EU legislation, must be expanded.
The Schengen acquis presupposes the joint protection of Europe's borders without compromise. Legal regulation of illegal migration and immigration should be the exclusive competence of nation states.
I am convinced that the hierarchy of the Union's institutional system, as defined in the Constitution, has turned upside down. The majority of the representatives working along the lines of party interests separated from the citizens of the nations are counter-selected livelihood politicians. They are preparing for the stability of their position and for the roles of governors in a future empire, and they often do this at a high price by betraying their nation.
The results of today's thesis are recorded in a final statement. Our community intends to move towards institutionalization by electing the board of the European Union Civil Cooperation Council. Our organization, which was founded in Hungary and Poland, is honored to have the UGL Italian Christian National Conservative Trade Union join our work as a partner through the mediation of the National Organization of Workers' Councils. We welcome the Albanian, Spanish and British trade unions present and staying here as observers to our camp.
We believe that we can become more and more effective by representing common interests for civilians.
We are taking strong steps to join civil foundations and associations that agree with us. Our calling words: God, home, family. The future union must be built from below and not from above. Citizens' initiatives cannot be heard in the branches of the European Commission. The constructive messages of European citizens must be lifted out of the deadly embrace of bureaucracy, so we are waiting for a new, easy-to-follow EU law.
I believe it to be true that anyone who does not fulfill a government function, is not a party soldier, but a civilian 24 hours a day. In this way, the employee, the management and the owner all row in the same boat for mutual benefits. Today, the role of trade unions as class fighters is relegated to the background, company loyalty, professionalism and the sharing of results that make the common future a certainty come to the fore. It is advisable to avoid marching under party flags.
My friends!
Let's fight for a better future for our common Europe! Let us ensure the freedom of our children and grandchildren in the long term, and deal with issues of human destiny along the lines of the primacy of the economy somehow, as the founding fathers of the European community imagined. Let's achieve the words of our great Hungarian István Széchenyi, "Nothing about us, without us".
