Public voting for the country's favorite lookout point and tourist house has begun. Those who wish to vote can choose their favorite locations from the pictures on the Facebook page of Aktív Magyarország until October 25.
For the second time, Aktív Magyarország announced the Lookout of the Year and Tourist House of the Year tenders, for which the general public could nominate their favorite active tourism destinations. The goal of the competition is for as many people as possible to recognize the importance of active leisure time and to set off to discover the country's most beautiful panoramas and most atmospheric tourist accommodations.
From the dozens of entries received, a narrow circle was formed, from which the general public now chooses by voting which one will be the country's favorite.
Among the applications submitted, the jury of Aktív Magyarország selected the 10 best ones based on professional criteria . Destinations in good condition and with an orderly environment were included, which lie along exciting tourist routes, so that many people turn around the locations.
The ten viewpoints and the ten tourist houses for which the public can vote can be found on the Facebook page of Aktív Magyarország.
In 2020, the Xantus János Gömbkilátó in Balatonboglár was chosen as the Lookout of the Year, and the Annafürdő Vendégház in Tolna won the title of Tourist House of the Year.
In order to make the competition as colorful as possible, the 10 best applications from last year could not start this year, they will get another chance next year.
