As is well known, Tímea Szabó's penalty of HUF 9.6 million was voted in the parliament this week. According to the justification for the decision, the leader of the Párbeszéd faction ignored the rules of the house regarding the manner, place and time of expressing the opinions of representatives, and because of his action, the normal course of the meeting was interrupted, hindered and disturbed the speech of the secretary of state, which responded to his suggestions.
"Thank you very much, thank you for the donations, it's really good to see that there is such a strong cooperation in this as well!" Tímea Szabó wrote about the punishment on her social media page. In the post, the representative asked for the help of voters. As he put it, even if they support him "even with just a few thousand forints" it will help "our fight against Orbán's oppression and silencing".

Even impudence turns into a virtue after a while, because this is not the first time that a well-to-do member of parliament begs. Obviously, the income of the donors does not even come close to the representative's honorarium, which is well over a million, but she clearly does not want to use it to finance her philandering. But if the representative was so brave as to break the rules of the house by shouting, then he should also have the courage to take it down personally, that is, stand in front of the parliament, take his hat in his hand, and if that doesn't work, then take his hat.
