The Swedish library organizes monthly storytimes for children aged 5-9, but only in Arabic.

In October, November and December, storytimes are organized in the library of Limhamn in Sweden for children aged 5-9. On the Facebook page of the event, the little ones are waiting for an "exciting adventure", but only those who understand Arabic.

The story hour also caused a stir on the city's social media page, several people questioned the library as to whether it would not be better to simply hold story hours in Swedish. Someone asked about it, but it turned out that the library does not hold storytimes in Swedish , V4NA wrote.

The paper also reminds us that in November 2019, an Arabic film week was organized in the library in the city of Bjuv, where, by the way, story afternoons in Arabic are also organized. When organizing the film week, the goal was to involve Arabic-speaking residents in the life of the community.
