The Kutyapárt does not need all the places on the list, they run separately in the election. The MKKP does not want to cooperate with the Gyurcsánys, said Gergely Kovács in ATV.
The Hungarian Kétfarkú Kutya Party will run on a separate list in the parliamentary elections in the spring, Gergely Kovács, the president of the party, announced on ATV on Friday evening. According to Kovács, the Dog Party managed to nominate individual representative candidates in 85 constituencies.
The president of the Dog Party also confirmed that Péter Márki-Zay approached them with the request that in exchange for seats on the final list, they would rather not run in the election in the spring. The MKKP did not join the opposition coalition, as they are unwilling to cooperate with the DK, MSZP and Jobbik either.
Gergely Kovács pointed out that, according to a survey published by Median in mid-October, the Kutyapár will certainly enter the Parliament.
According to the research, the MKKP could have up to 6-7 percent if the opposition parties did not join forces, but they would also get at least five percent if the opposition parties finally got together.
The president of the party spoke about how they would cooperate with the other opposition parties in the parliament in approximately the same way as they used to in the local governments.
Perhaps they are hoping that the scale will have a dog's tongue!
