On Saturday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received the Hungarian medalists of the 2021 EuroSkills competition at the Karmelita Monastery, Bertalan Havasi, the prime minister's press chief, informed MTI.
He reminded: in September, Hungary participated for the seventh time in the European Championship of professions, EuroSkills, which was organized this year in Graz. More than 400 young professionals from 31 countries participated in this year's competition; They measured their skills in 38 competitions and 10 demonstration professions. 26 competitors represented our country, Hungary finished in the prestigious 6th place in the ranking of the points achieved based on the medals won, said the head of the Prime Minister's Press Office.
In Hungary, about 30,000 people study the professions within the school system that make up the "competition professions" at EuroSkills.
Tasks related to EuroSkills competitions are carried out by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry based on the 2010 agreement with the government.
