Every year on the last Sunday of October, watch fires are lit all over Székelyland, the Carpathian Basin and the world to support togetherness, self-determination, territorial and cultural autonomy of the Székely people.
In Miskolc, on Kálvária hill, the flame of compassion and solidarity flared up again this year, organized by the Miskolc Club of the Civil Unity Forum.
Attila Lengyel, the president of CÖF Klub Miskolc, István László Vass, gave a speech at the event, and then the representatives of the historical churches said a prayer for the people of Székely, Transylvania and the nation.
