According to the media expert, politics is already taking place in the online space, and according to him, the 2022 election may be decided here as well.
In Facebook's terminology, the red zone means that the site does not display the content in the followers' feed, it practically erases it, Philip Rákay said on M1's program Ma reglegg. The media specialist highlighted that since August 17, the viewing of posts on his former page has dropped significantly, along with the viewership.
Facebook's so-called independent fact-checkers justified all this with hate speech.
Philip Rákay put it as
even Orwell, the author of 1984, would click on the name, since the concept of an independent fact-checker would fit his book perfectly.
The media specialist pointed out that the censors of the left-liberal side can declare virtually anything that falls outside their bubble of opinion as hate speech. The ban was primarily caused by posts related to the Child Protection Act, as well as a vitriolic article about a 40-year-old banker who woke up one morning wanting to undergo surgery to become a gender-neutral dragon. For the Facebook censors, the independent fact-checkers, this was the decisive argument for blocking.
He emphasized that he started a new page on Facebook because serious changes have taken place in the media. Today, there are 7 million Facebook users in Hungary, and according to research, 60 percent of people get public information from here.
He highlighted
the conservative side must not deviate from this course,
it is the duty of conservative opinion leaders to hold up a mirror to the lies of the left-liberal side with facts, writings, and videos, and they must represent the truth. He added that he is sure that Facebook is the most important public battleground for the 2022 election.
Philip Rákay said that he has been on TV for thirty years, but recently the world has turned in a different direction:
social media, Facebook have overtaken traditional media,
and strongly influence access to news. He emphasized that the responsibility of the first Facebook page launched in September last year was that, using an analogy, you have to enter the left-liberal sandbox that has been appropriated and represent those who do not agree with that opinion. He emphasized that today there are many millions of hits, and if the left-liberal answer is blocking, you should not give up even if you are thrown out the door, you have to climb back through the window.
The media professional added that he experienced extremely positive results, because he feels that he was able to support those who felt that they were alone, giving them the strength to see that, in fact, they are not alone. He highlighted as a positive trend that more and more right-wing opinion leaders are being born, sharing and comments help a lot in this struggle. The statistics of the restarted site show that the followers are starting to return after a day and a half, but of course not only them, a whole army of trolls has also appeared, which, among other things, also issues death threats.
