392 people died, most of them elderly, chronically ill, and another 27,209 people infected with the coronavirus were found in Hungary - koronavirus.gov.hu ​​announced in its weekend summary on Monday, highlighting that 6,024,568 people have been vaccinated so far, of which 5,794,499 have received the second, 1 and 834,000 have already received the third dose of vaccine.

It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 1,025,697. 33,172 people died, the number of those who recovered rose to 847,992. The number of active infected people is 144,533.

6,451 coronavirus patients are being treated in the hospital, of which 649 are on ventilators.

There are 50,429 people in official home quarantine, the number of samples taken is 8,134,310.

It was highlighted: the vaccination promotion week started on Monday: between November 22 and 28, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., you can get vaccinated at hospital vaccination points without prior registration or appointment. Hospitals across the country are waiting for arrivals with increased vaccination capacity, whether for the first, the missed second, or the confirmatory third vaccination.

They added that unvaccinated people can come to the vaccination point without prior registration, in which case they will be registered on the spot. Those who arrive without an appointment will be vaccinated in order of arrival, and those who have registered in advance and booked an appointment online can avoid the wait.

The most important thing was that the unvaccinated take up the vaccine as soon as possible, as this provides the strongest protection against the serious course of the disease. Less than one percent of the vaccinated get sick, and the course of the disease is usually much milder than the vaccinated, they added, adding that the third booster vaccination is also recommended for everyone who received the previous vaccination more than four months ago.
