According to the announcement of János Volner, the former vice-chairman of Jobbik, the Gyurcsánys cannot win even if such a result comes out after the votes are counted.
According to him, there are still one or two people in the party who have a serious chance of getting a mandate in the election, and if it is necessary in terms of retaining power for Fidesz, then he can pluck them from the ranks of the communists without further ado.
- There are also right-wingers in Péter Jakab's party who are members only because they are loyal to me. I am in constant contact with them and I am ready to transfer one or two mandates in 2022 in order to prevent the left from coming to power
János Volner told Magyar Nemzet.
In Hír Tv, he said: "It is possible to remove more right-wingers from the party. So if the Gyurcsánys believe that they will enter into an alliance with Jobbik and gain control of the country in this way, I can promise everyone that I will take one or two people out of Jobbik and transfer them to the other side so that the left should never have a parliamentary majority in this country.”
