The number of vaccinated people is 6,057,367, of which 5,808,536 have already received their second vaccination, and 2,043,213 have already received their third vaccination.
12,637 new infected people were confirmed, bringing the total number of identified infected people to 1,044,852 since the beginning of the epidemic. Most of the 176 people who died were elderly and chronically ill, so the number of those who died rose to 33,519. The number of people who have recovered is constantly increasing, currently 856,330 people, and the number of active infected people has risen to 155,003 people. 6,840 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, of which 664 are on ventilators, according to the government portal koronavirus.gov.hu
