As long as the Orbán government leads Hungary, the border fence will remain in place and the government will do everything possible to fight immigration, reject the legalization of illegal immigration and the mandatory quota, said the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (KKM) responsible for information and the international presentation of Hungary on Friday in Budapest , at a press conference.
Tamás Menczer added: at the same time, Hungary is in solidarity and supports everyone who protects its border. The state secretary said that in the migration crisis that has been going on since 2015, no one in Brussels has yet said that no one can enter Europe illegally, namely because there are pro-immigration bureaucrats and politicians working in Brussels who want to manage migration, not stop it . He pointed out: In Brussels, they think that immigration is useful and would be a solution to all of Europe's problems, but according to the Hungarian government's view, migration is not a solution, but the problem itself.
He added that the European Union supports immigration not only in words, but also in deeds. In November 2020, the European Commission adopted the integration and inclusion action plan for the period 2021-2027. The essence of this is that Brussels wants to control the immigration policy of the member states, wants an open society, wants to organize migration, finance it, give housing to immigrants, treat them as full citizens and give them the right to vote. Tamás Menczer pointed out that the most dangerous of these is the last point, in which they want to hand over political control to immigrants; this would be realized in the granting of the right to vote and the transfer of political decisions. As he said, with mass immigration and family reunification, the proportions in the population will change, and the decisions will be transferred to the hands of the immigrant communities. the words of Margarítisz Szkínász , the commissioner responsible for the promotion of the European lifestyle
It is a lie, it is not a fundamental human right that masses of immigrants march through safe countries, break all laws, and push them to a place where they want to live, Tamás Menczer stated. quoted Ylva Johansson , who said that societies need migrants, the energy and ambition of migrants, and noted that the Hungarian and Polish border guards "could tell a lot" about this energy and ambition. He pointed out: In Brussels and in Hungary, pro-immigration supporters say the same thing. He quoted Péter Márki-Zay , the candidate for prime minister of the left, who says that migrants are not dangerous, and recalled that since 2015, terrorists with a migration background have caused the deaths of 330 Europeans and injured 1,300 in attacks.
He indicated: recently, more and more references are being made to the fact that the perpetrator suffered from mental difficulties and thus cannot be punished. He emphasized: as long as the Orbán government leads Hungary, the border fence will remain in place, the police and soldiers will be there, the legal environment will be "given", and they will do everything possible against immigration, rejecting the legalization of illegal immigration and the mandatory quota.
György Bakondi , the prime minister's chief adviser on internal security, spoke about the simultaneous occurrence of mass, violent and organized migration from three directions at the external borders of Europe , and so far the deterioration of weather conditions has not brought a significant decrease in the number of illegal immigrants, in fact the November numbers show a radical increase. He touched on the state-sponsored "cooperation" in illegal immigration at the Belarusian border. He said: 30-35 thousand people come from Afghanistan every day, so it can be assumed that the current trends will continue and the number of illegal migrants will not decrease. György Bakondi added: compared to previous years, the number of people guarding Europe's borders with fences has increased sixfold, because it has become obvious that this is the effective solution against violent, mass, organized border crossings. Hungary and Serbia have started joint patrols on the border, which helps to reassure the population and also to keep people smugglers and migrants who approach the border in an organized manner away, he said.
He called the EU's migration policy wrong, which finances everything that supports migration, but does not give resources to those who protect the border, in fact, it weakens them, for example, in breach of obligations proceedings, he wants to force Hungary to allow migrants to enter and submit asylum applications, thereby "I want to cancel the fence". He noted: if Hungary complied with this, the migrants would illegally leave for Western Europe after submitting the applications. He emphasized: the current EU rules are not suitable for effective border control. Bakondi said that according to Frontex data, 160,000 border violators appeared at the external borders of the EU by the end of 2021, which is a 70 percent increase compared to 2020 and a 45 percent increase compared to 2019. So far, 109,710 border violators have been caught in Hungary, which is a threefold increase compared to 2020. So far, 1,126 human traffickers have been caught, compared to 386 in this period last year. He also said that large-group apprehensions are being experienced more and more often at the Hungarian border, there is no doubt that the arrivals are organized, the number of migrants acting violently is increasing, and the presence of international organized crime is also increasing .
