The president of Jobbik, being a married man, can live with his cabinet chief in a secret partnership for many months. In connection with the case, the Újpest organization of Jobbik initiated an investigation against the party chairman. - can be read in Magyar Hírlap.
As they write, Bors obtained the document initiating the ethical procedure, which was signed by Balázs Szabó and András Veres, members of the party's basic organization in Újpest. The submission reveals that the party has known for many months that there is more than just a working relationship between the party chairman and his chief of staff, and that they live in the same apartment in Budapest.
"The rumor has been spreading for months, if not a year, among the party membership and basic organizations that Péter Jakab and Enikő Molnár have a sexual relationship and a cohabitation relationship in addition to their close working relationship."
"It is a problematic and unbecoming behavior for a right-winger that our member Enikő Molnár develops a romantic relationship with the president of the party in order to ensure his influence, advancement and ever-increasing informal power within the party."
From an ethical point of view, the initiators of the procedure consider it a serious concern that both Péter Jakab and his alleged partner are the parents of three children each, and that they were able to carry on a secret relationship with each other while they have a family, and Jakab tries to show himself as a devoted family man in the eyes of the public.
