10,143 new infected people were confirmed, bringing the total number of identified infected people to 1,134,869 since the beginning of the epidemic. Most of the 191 people who died were elderly and chronically ill, so the number of people who died rose to 35,122. The number of people who have recovered is constantly increasing, currently 910,745 people, and the number of active infected people has risen to 189,002 people. 7,463 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, 566 of them are on ventilators, according to the government portal koronavirus.gov.hu
