A real estate developer made a statement in front of a notary that the Budapest Capital Asset Management Center (BFVK) Zrt., with the knowledge of the mayor, offered the City Hall for sale, the head of the Fidesz faction of the Capital Assembly announced on Thursday in Budapest.
Zsolt Láng announced at the press conference held in front of the City Hall that the person who made the statement was aware of his criminal liability and sent them the letter about it. He also stated that he is willing to confirm the allegations in it personally, also at the next meeting of the committee investigating the case, he added.
The expert also claims - the faction leader continued - that the real estate agent Zsolt Berki involved in the case asked for a ten percent honorarium for the transaction, and he justified the unusually high commission by saying that higher circles in the capital also benefit from it.

2022 plus commentary:
When the incompetent mayor says that "there is no case", you can only think that they have failed and therefore cannot sell the City Hall. So "there is no case"... True, the 10% commission of the estimated value of 40 billion forints is also 4 billion forints (!!!) and all those who would have distributed the money among them have already failed. We are now at the point where it would be good to find out how many people and among whom they intended to distribute the 4 billion.
Of course, it would also be good to know whether the intention itself (the draft of the sale) is sufficient for prosecution, or if it was not realized in the end, then there is really nothing to talk about?
Or is it only possible to write long articles about political responsibility until everyone gets bored? Because Karácsony and his friends must be playing for that now.
