Swiss boys are now girls, and little girls can also choose a boy's name in primary school.
In the Swiss canton of Vaud, schoolchildren can decide for themselves what first name they want to use, regardless of their biological sex. Already in elementary school. The Swiss canton of one million people made the decision because, according to the leadership of the ultra-liberal canton, parents are not sufficiently receptive to the LGBTQ world and, for example, are willing to call a boy only by his first name at home. Another, without exaggeration, example of extreme LGBTQ propaganda. When far-left, ultra-liberal politics interfere with child rearing.
The provincial education ministry said in a directive that in the French-speaking canton of nearly one million, elementary school students can now decide for themselves what first name they want to use at school, regardless of the student's biological sex.
The same applies to the use of pronouns, because in the French language, masculine and feminine are distinguished among definite and indefinite pronouns. So, it is easy for someone who was called Lea today to come to school as Leo tomorrow, writes the Swiss daily "Le Temps". And teachers must respect students' decisions. According to the directive issued to "monitor trans and non-binary students", the new rule is based on students' right to self-determination and is independent of what is stated in official identity documents, i.e. independent of the student's biological sex.
So, even a 10-year-old boy can decide to consider himself a girl from now on and be called by a female name by his teacher.
Among the reader comments received on the Internet interface of the daily Le Temps, we do not find any that say this change is correct or going in the right direction, on the contrary. Many of the commentators would prefer that schools deal with children learning to write, count, and conjugation correctly, but many write that the new directive is nothing more than "a classic manifestation of the usual and well-known excesses of the left, which has nothing to do with realities and real problems".
The left deals with social changes and reforms, while it has completely abandoned its basic tasks and no longer represents either the workers or the needy at all. They are starting to play a dominant role everywhere in education and culture... - read one of the comments.
Origo previously wrote about how, under the influence and pressure of the extreme liberal, left-wing lobby, they want to change the centuries-old rules of the French language by introducing a third, neutral pronoun in addition to the feminine and masculine pronouns and, in connection with this, by changing our spelling rules in France, but all this would affect of course also the French-speaking parts of Belgium and Switzerland.
