436, mostly elderly, chronic patients died, and another 7,989 people infected with the coronavirus were found in Hungary, koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Monday in its summary for the period from Thursday to Sunday. Roland Damu, a well-known Hungarian actor, also died at the age of forty-seven. He was cared for in the intensive care unit, he was breathing with the help of an artificial lung, and he spent the last few weeks in a critical condition.
It was revealed about Damu Roland in mid-December: he is under deep anesthesia in the intensive care unit of a Hungarian hospital. Damu was infected with the coronavirus despite having been vaccinated twice. His condition became so critical that he had to be artificially ventilated and received artificial lung treatment. An acquaintance of Roland Damu - who also informed the public about the change in the actor's health condition - now announced on Facebook: the actor's body gave up the fight, he fell asleep forever at dawn on December 27, Blikk reports .
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 1,245,319. 38,743 people died, the number of those who recovered rose to 1,087,943. The number of actively infected people is 118,633. 4,063 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, of which 409 are on ventilators.
