Pharmacist and media personality György Gődény, who questions the usefulness of wearing masks and vaccinations, wrote an open letter to the Prime Minister of Hungary. The first thing that stands out in this letter is that there is no humility in it. Its author does not have an iota of doubt in his truth, he mentions the responsibility of others, and his own does not come to mind for a minute. Scientists - university teachers and researchers - are usually characterized by doubts, they often state that it is probable or maybe, and in relation to certain questions they say that we "don't know" because we haven't proven it yet. György Gődény knows everything, going so far as to encourage the Prime Minister that he should "rely more on his own intuition" .
In the meantime, he declares as a fact that the disease " coronavirus produced in a laboratory, which has been supplemented with HIV virus elements; even without intervention, 99.73 percent of the infected recover; with professional treatment - this is still denied to the majority of Hungarian patients (hopefully, the establishment of responsibility will not be delayed) - 50-80 percent of patients can be cured quickly at home, as shown by the examples of India or Peru, among others" .
Well, we simply don't know if some of the claims are true or not: it cannot be ruled out that the virus might be artificial, but it is more likely to be of animal origin, if only because in the history of mankind, viruses of animal origin that cause epidemics have appeared on a regular basis. Only recently: SARS-1 in 2002–03, bird flu in 2006, swine flu in 2009, MERS coronavirus in 2012, another bird flu in 2013–14, then SARS in 2019 -2. Considering the large masses of people and animals moving around the Earth, it is rather a miracle that we have avoided the pandemic so far. But the exact answer to the question is: neither the natural nor the artificial origin has been confirmed yet.
Another part of the above statements can also be verified by a sane person: if someone were to think that the governments of the world, which are often not very friendly with each other, conspired one by one and the statistics are all lying about the death rate, it is still easy to calculate how many people died and in our own environment, relatives, neighbors and various known people. If we think about it and multiply this amount, we can perceive the severity of the epidemic in reality, not just in numbers.
Officially, according to the WHO, the death rate is 3-4 percent (György Gődény believes that 99.73 percent of those infected will recover without intervention), but the situation could be worse, several studies have already proven through excess mortality that several times as many people die during each wave , than how many are included in the coronavirus statistics. This is true for most countries, but less so for Hungary - according to international calculations.
