For a long time, June 4 was a day of mourning - reminded the Prime Minister's Secretary of State responsible for national policy at the commemoration held on Sunday in Dombóvár, on the day of national unity.

János Árpád Potápi said: the day of national unity does not want to forget the loss, it could not, but since 2010 we have also been saying that we can gain strength from Trianon.

Looking over the hundred years that have passed since the Treaty of Trianon, we can see that Hungarians are alive and thriving despite all odds, the largest people in the Carpathian Basin.

They ransacked the country, tore families apart, weakened us, put enormous burdens on us, and yet we recovered, we have a vision for the future, said Potápi.

According to the state secretary, the performance of Hungarians radiates a strength that commands authority. In Hungarian national politics, the year of regime change was 2010, and the new period is calculated from that time, which is based on the preservation of Hungarianness. The most important result of the 13 years that have passed since then is the strengthening of the consciousness, feeling and experience of national belonging. "The leaders of the city dedicated a worthy place to this in Dombóvár by inaugurating the space of national belonging," said Potápi, who believes that it is important to have communities and city leaders who ensure that the sense of belonging is filled with content.
