In a video published on his Facebook page, the Minister of Human Resources announced that the wages of those working in the cultural sector will increase by 20 percent from January 1st.
Miklós Kásler said that the purpose of the wage increase is to facilitate the effective performance of cultural tasks and to support the retention of those working in culture.
He emphasized: this also helps young people find a career path, a vocation in culture that provides not only a job, but also a purpose.
