Ferenc Gyurcsány, the real leader of the left, stood up for migrants and migration on his social media page. This proves once again that the left has not changed and is still driven by the same goals as before.
The president of the Democratic Coalition put it this way: "our world insists that life takes priority. This is not liberal fluff, this is the humanist minimum for Christians, conservatives, agnostics, leftists and so on".
"In this matter, the Hungarian government's refugee policy is inhumane and unacceptable," the fallen prime minister of the left side said in support of migration, but he admits that the protection of other people's lives and our own way of life are two aspects that come into conflict with each other. Gyurcsány tries to resolve this contradiction by saying that, according to him, "if we learn to talk about this nicely, if we can coordinate these considerations, if we understand when, how, and why priority is given, then our country and Europe will have a fair refugee policy."
We do not ask for the pro-immigration policy of the left - Fidesz reacted to Ferenc Gyurcsány's Facebook post.
The leader of the left again put his faith in the pro-immigration policy. Brussels and the Hungarian left still want to encourage immigration, not stop it. "However, the pro-immigration policy of the left would endanger the security of Hungary and the Hungarian people."
The Hungarian people have expressed their opinion on this several times, so despite the left-wing pressure, we continue to insist that immigration must be stopped, the borders must be protected, and quotas must be said no to for the sake of Hungary's security. Because Hungary must go forward, not backward - concluded Fidesz's statement.
