The online consultation about the restart was completed by 528,000 people. The consultation has ended, Csaba Dömötör, the parliamentary secretary of the Prime Minister's Cabinet Office, presented the results in a video.

According to 88 percent of the respondents, the epidemiological restrictions should be lifted gradually, step by step. Only 12 percent said that in one step at the end of the epidemic.

65 percent of the participants agree that those with a protection card should be exempted from some restrictive measures.

According to 74 percent, if the epidemiological situation allows it, one of the first steps should be to relax the curfew after 8 p.m. in addition to strict security rules.

This support is 87 percent for the opening of restaurants and hotels, and 75 percent for the opening of sports facilities.

58 percent of the participants agree that people with a protection card should be allowed to visit events, such as concerts and sports events.

The result of the question about the entry of foreigners: 79 percent of the respondents agree that until the end of the epidemic, only foreigners who have been vaccinated or have a protection card can enter the territory of Hungary.

Csaba Dömötör also said that the government will prepare the restart plan based on the results, some stages of which will be adjusted to the number of vaccinations administered. The prime minister will discuss the details of the opening with Hungarian experts and foreign prime ministers who are ahead of us.
