The experts of Dömös bird rescue and E.on built a safe home for the birds.

A safe artificial nest woven around with reeds and twigs was made for the Kömlőd storks, because in the last forty years, not a single bird has visited the village at the foot of the Vértes Mountains.

That is why we have to take great care of our storks

said to Kemma , who moved every stone to ensure the safety of the freshmen, for example calling in experts.

According to Vlad András Márton, an employee of the BirdMania Bird Park and Nature Rescue Center, this is the 38th artificial nest built on a power pole in the last 2.5 years with the cooperation and help of E.on. Then the 25-30 kilogram "apartment" was completed, with which the original one was replaced, but before that, a drone inspected the exact location.

One of the members of the stork pair did not move from the crumbling nest despite the greater commotion in the area. She had every reason to do so, as she kept two eggs in the nest. During the stork rescue, the specialists carefully removed the eggs from the nest, which were placed in a mobile incubator, and finally returned to their original place, only in another nest.

The bird did not fly too far, watching the action from the chimney of one of the houses opposite. Finally, we had to wait almost half an hour before the bird took its place again on top of the column opposite the convenience store, this time in its new, safe nest.
