Most of the 81 people who died were elderly and chronically ill, so the number of those who died rose to 40,164. The number of people who have recovered is constantly increasing, currently 1,155,505 people, and the number of active infected people has risen to 122,424 people. 2,647 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 249 of them are on ventilators. The omicron virus variant is already spreading strongly and increasing the number of infected people, the serious course of the disease can be prevented by taking the booster vaccine. The vaccination campaign will continue from this afternoon: on Thursday and Friday afternoons, as well as on Saturday, you can get vaccinated again without prior appointment at the hospital vaccination points and the designated district center clinics.

  • January 29, 2022 (Saturday) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
