Even though Gergely Karácsony promised that employees do not have to fear that there will be layoffs due to the merger of the capital's utility companies, downsizing continues.

A week after the appointment of Imre Mártha, the head of the new utility holding company, a mother with three children who had been working at the company for twelve years was separated from her, who was then threatened and spoken to humiliatingly.

The to Metropol that she worked for FKF for 12 years, but after the merger of the capital's utility companies - and after Imré Mártha was appointed to head the holding - she was fired and threatened. As he put it:

I was called in by the head of the plant and in the presence of my immediate supervisor, and with enough cynicism in his voice, he informed me that this was my last day of work, because the management reviewed the tasks in the group where I worked and came to the conclusion that the daily tasks to be performed could also be performed with fewer white-collar workers. can be fulfilled. He sent me on my way with an hour to pack my personal belongings, which he hoped would be enough and he wouldn't have to call security to remove me from the plant area. He also mentioned from Foghegy that I could keep my fleece top, which was provided by the FKF.

They do not respond to applicants

Although the public utility holding is struggling with a staff shortage, according to the portal's information, they are still not responding to applicants. The mother of three also asked to be transferred to customer service, which is constantly understaffed, but the plant manager told her that it was not her responsibility. And the HR director advised that if you see an open position on the career page, apply and they'll see what they can do. However, he did not receive a response to the application.

Gergely Karácsony also rejected it

In desperation, the mother turned to the mayor and Imre Mártha, but no one helped her. As he said:

I wrote to Kata Tüttő, the deputy mayor responsible for city operations, Imre Mártha, but I got rejection from everywhere, I ran into walls. Last year, at an opposition primary election event, I approached Mayor Gergely Karácsony, asking for a personal hearing. He referred me to one of his colleagues, who asked me to write my story, send it and they would try to help me. I quickly received the answer that the mayor does not have personal reception hours, and they are sorry if I am not satisfied with the measure, i.e. that I was fired from my job. So much for the Mayor of Budapest.

In the meantime, Imre Mártha lives his life of luxury, invests in properties worth billions, has his own port, and sometimes goes boating during his working hours.
