As previously reported by 2022 plus , according to her parliamentary resume, MSZP's Bangón does not seem to have a degree in economics. Although the MSZP representative includes a BGF degree in economics in his parliamentary resume, according to the university, there is no relevant data in their archives.
Mandiner published the news about the case a short time ago:
At its extraordinary meeting on January 23, 2022, the National Board of the MSZP found that Ildikó Bangóné Borbély deceived the public and the community of the Hungarian Socialist Party regarding her education, so their political paths are parting, the party announced.
As it was written, the community of socialists consistently condemns those actions when someone tries to get a degree by circumventing the requirements, failing to fulfill them, or abusing a non-existent qualification. They also wrote:
As of today, Ildikó Bangóné Borbély is not a member of the MSZP, the Hungarian Socialist Party will not field her in the elections, and calls on her to return her parliamentary mandate.
The Socialist Party considers the matter closed, they added.
