"A seventy-year-old student from the Árpád High School in Óbuda asks for your patience for a few sentences. At the very least, never forget the example of the life of the namesake of your school, Sándor Csoma Kőrösi. Well, you don't have to become a world traveler to search for the origins and homeland of Hungarians. You want to discover and preserve these 75 years in Csonka's Country too! (Suffice it to think of Sándor Csoma's native village, Körös in Triszék.) You don't even have to make a pilgrimage to the old English cemetery in distant Darjeeling, where "...a poor, orphaned Hungarian without money or applause" finally rests. Who was looking for the wise man of his nation and found his grave here - but also his immortality!", as his epitaph reads. Research the example of his life and follow it!

His self-discipline and diligence, his Christian faith and his fit body, his puritan lifestyle, his great education! And all this at the service of the Homeland and Humanity!

This today's clamoring, blaring, nervous, soulless "consumer society", with its discos, hamburgers, drug-alcohol mass hysteria, pulls you down like seaweed into the swamp of an empty, sleazy life! What kind of soul can live in a body so emaciated?

However, Hungary needs strong, healthy, Christian Youth and Families, both in body and soul, if we want to survive in the coming centuries and millennia! But you also have a task ahead of you in language care. Not the preparation of the Tibetan grammar and dictionary, but merely keeping and preserving the language of your Mother, so that you can pass it on to your children and grandchildren in its unblemished richness! Because this is one of the strongest ties that binds us together.

All of us, living and dead Hungarians! Finally! We don't have to look for the Old Home! (But that's why we get to know the research and results of scientists, linguists, archaeologists and ethnographers so far.) We have to know, elevate, appreciate and protect this current, mutilated and threatened country, for ourselves and for the future!

Speaking with Áron Tamási: "Are we finally in the world?

To be somewhere at home in it!"

This "somewhere" is right here under our feet! Hungary!

My young friends!

I know, what I have asked of you is quite a lot. But that's the only way, and that's the only reason to live! And this Nation had so many heroic dead, now it needs heroic living! I think you will be the ones!

Tired, old, but I embrace you with my arms radiating love and faith!

(Held at the Csoma Sándor Kőrösi High School in Óbuda)
