Péter Kovács-Pifka, the general manager of the Hungary Helps Agency, said: the task of the new office will be to monitor subsidies and collect subsidy requests. He also talked about the operation and work of the agency in Spirit Fm's show Magyarország segít.

More than forty countries, a total of 160 projects are supported by the Hungary Helps agency around the world, a significant part of which is in the Middle East, which is why the opening of the office is necessary, according to the director. Tristan Azbej is the professional manager of the Hungary Helps Program, he decides on the form in which the subsidies will be paid, where they will be paid and for what purposes. Péter Kovács-Pifka reported on the work of the agency .

The Hungary Helps Program can provide three types of support. According to the CEO, one of them is emergency aid, which is paid out in the event of a disaster, terrorist attack, explosion, natural or industrial disaster. An example of this is the recent windstorm in the Czech Republic, when they were able to provide assistance to the victims the very next day.

The other form of support is infrastructural reconstruction, which can be given in the event that after an armed or other conflict in the given region, it is necessary for people to be able to return to their normal lives. This can be school, church, or any other infrastructure. The third type of support is when no reconstruction takes place. In such cases , they help in locations where a scholarship program can be useful. In this case, the goal is the development of the community and providing the children with a better education. Such programs exist in several places in Africa.

He called it a challenge that some countries do not even have functioning banking systems. In all cases, the goal is the same, so that the beneficiaries of the subsidies are placed in better conditions in their homeland and able to live a better life. Also, to promote local prosperity and not force them to leave their homeland and come to Europe.
