It seems that the confidence of former SZDSZ interior minister Gábor Kuncze does not want to return even after the defeat of Covid. The reason for this could be the very weak, crippling campaign of the left, because of which he ranted in front of ATV's cameras for ten minutes.
We remember that, in its old form, he even had the nerve to make fun of the peaceful protesters on October 23, 2006, beaten up by the Gyurcsány government, in the parliament, when the bloody-headed Révész jokingly called Márius Mártirius. In an interview given to Hírklikk last October, he came up with the farba, i.e. the characteristics of the true content of his soul, by declaring: "Lying, misleading, inciting hatred and inciting tensions. This is Fidesz for me." And the fact that he campaigned with the Lop-STOP KRESZ sign is worthless, even though Péter Medgyessy had just said about his party that the SZDSZ was full of corruption cases."
So, somewhere here you have to look for the real face of Gábor Kuncze, who says from a height that the overwhelming majority of Hungarians want to live in this country, and why they have been voting for the one with whom they are very satisfied for twelve years.
Apparently, Gábor Kuncze is only able to deal with reality when his personal fate depends on the circumstances. Because before he was infected with the coronavirus, he scolded the health care as he could on the tube. However, when he recovered, he couldn't help but praise the expertise and dedication of the doctors and nurses who treated him, thanking them with dripping saliva for their dedicated work.
However, this Kuncze seems to have changed now. Before yesterday, he was able to appear for ten minutes on ATV's Ejenes Beszéd program and he never once kicked Fidesz, did not hate, did not incite the voters against the government.
Instead, this Kuncze kept talking with a hanging nose about how the campaign conducted by the left is weak. He argued with MSZP co-chairman Bertalan Tóth, who says the campaign is going full steam ahead. Kuncze, on the other hand, was saddened that he did not see this at all. As he said: "I look at the whole campaign coldly. In the campaigns in which I participated, we already knew in November and December what to say, we knew how the candidate's constituency campaign would be structured. I see that we have gone much further with the preparation."
He was also saddened by the fact that there are conflicts between the leaders of the parties, which regularly fall out. He also sees the lack of organization and lack of purpose in the fact that it has not yet been decided whether the left will have a republican candidate or not, and it is completely impossible for the candidates themselves to know from the news that their names are in the running at all, such as Péter Róna or István Elek. "Why can't we sit down and discuss whether there will be a candidate or not? If so, let's decide who is eligible, and then the leader of the list will announce it and see you later," he insulted with bitter anger, whose posture already suggests that Fidesz will destroy the left, two months before the elections. Left-wing political analyst Zoltán Vasali also spoke about paralysis in the program, expressing his disapproval that the left is not yet ready with its joint election list.
The whole conversation radiated grief, trembling from the expected darkness of the election's defeat. It was as if Kuncze and Vasali had said with their own vocabulary what Márki-Zay emphasized in London: "I will never say that I will defeat Orbán." Moreover, the left-wing prime ministerial candidate specifically asked his campaign staff to stop telling people what he had previously said: "I will defeat Orbán."
A hundred words have one end, Gábor Kuncze's confidence in the election success of the Gyurcsányists ended his service. His posture and his sentences radiated gloom, like someone who sees that "the ship has gone".
Of course, the majority of voters are not saddened by this at all, even though they know that no one can stay at home in their comfortable armchair to win on April 3.
