The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, at the opening of the conference on European digital development (Masters of Digital), paid great tribute to Hungarian Oncompass Medicine. In his speech, the president emphasized that the software developed by Oncompass is a revolutionary breakthrough in medicine.
The specialists were among the first to prove the usefulness of artificial intelligence in the personalized application of targeted anti-tumor drugs. The evidence-based scientific findings were published in Precision Oncology. The Calculator software produced by the company has already attracted attention at the European level. At the opening of the conference on European digital development, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, praised Oncompass, founded by cancer researcher István Peták.
When treating cancer patients, doctors often use personalized, targeted therapies in addition to traditional therapies. The number of targeted medicines is constantly increasing, and many of them are already available in Hungary.
The need for a detailed molecular diagnostic examination of the tumor and a comprehensive analysis of the obtained results is becoming more and more powerful. István Peták, the founder and scientific director of Oncompass Medicine, together with his team, therefore developed a software based on artificial intelligence that organizes and evaluates the results of molecular diagnostics.
