Of course, the session of the National Assembly took place in a campaign atmosphere, the opposition politicians ranted, and the government party quoted the insulting statements of the left-wing prime ministerial candidate, and hinted that, according to Péter Márki-Zay's assessment, there are "fascists and communists" in their alliance. "They are putting on a strange show, on the one hand, they say that our days are numbered, and on the other hand, they talk about the existence of a dictatorship. However, personalization and the boundless left-wing hate politics remain lacking," Csaba Dömötör, State Secretary of the Prime Minister's Cabinet Office, reacted to Tímea Szabó's speech before the agenda, in which the leader of the Párbeszéd faction angrily vilified Fidesz politicians, then mentioned chicken farts and unheated apartments.
Dömötör pointed out: the economy grew by more than seven percent, and this made it possible to return the 13th monthly pension, family tax refunds, and tax exemption for young people under 25. The left-wing governments, when they had the opportunity, did not give, but took away, and the left-wing politicians in the opposition did not vote for the measures to help families, explained the state secretary. Referring to the candidate for Prime Minister of the left, he noted that the picture is clear, you can already see what Péter Márki-Zay thinks about the country and the Hungarians. "We know more than we should. No one has ever raised the insult to Hungarians to such a speed," said Csaba Dömötör, quoting verbatim several statements of the candidate of the left.
He added: the opposition ignores the fact that their candidate insults millions of Hungarians. "We will keep our calm, and the Hungarians will respond to the insults on April 3, and the response will be loud". Antal Csárdi (LMP) questioned the Völner case, and Róbert Répássy, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, retaliated by saying: "since you He is an ally of Gyurcsány and thus an expert on corruption. In Szombathely, a suspect is being launched in the election, and criminal proceedings have already been conducted against Ferenc Gyurcsány, we should be more modest". He recalled: when the Supreme Prosecutor's Office initiated the suspension of Pál Völner's immunity, he resigned at that moment, criminal proceedings will establish the facts. However, the left never takes responsibility for anything, in cases where left-wing politicians are involved, such as City Hall Gate, there is no one responsible.
Ferenc Gyurcsány was not present, so Anett Bősz, as the leader of the DK, claimed that a livelihood crisis had developed. Balázs Orbán, the State Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office, stated that the representative tried to support his argument with highly questionable statistics from a methodological point of view, the reality is that the number of people exposed to poverty has decreased by 1.250 million people, and countless measures serve the interests of those with lower incomes, such as the four-stop policy - utility reduction, interest rate cap, gasoline price cap, basic food price cap -, steps taken to protect foreign currency borrowers, or the 13th month pension. In comparison, before 2010, the price of electricity doubled and the price of gas tripled, and the family tax allowance and discounted loans were abolished. We don't want this anti-poor policy to return - emphasized the state secretary.
After Bertalan Tóth (MSZP) claimed that if this "corrupt government" remains in power, EU funds will not come, Balázs Orbán stated: "May God save Hungary from the left again messing with EU funds!" They were only able to call a fraction of it, the opportunities were missed, and that era is also characterized by the corruption case of the fourth metro, the state secretary reminded. He recalled that recently Angela Merkel also said that our country uses EU funds well, "to increase people's well-being as a whole". This gave life to the left-wing lie, Balázs Orbán warned.
Péter Jakab demanded a "free country", saying that "vaccination cannot be made mandatory!" After worrying about the unvaccinated and the "hard workers", the Jobbik chairman tried to amuse his followers following the broadcast with statements such as "Judit Varga blinks like a fish in the bag", or that Lőrinc Mészáros "will be able to clean the toilet in Szeged for free, together with you." He touched on the referendum on child protection, evaluating the questions as "you are fools!". Csaba Dömötör questioned Jakab, "what are you looking for in the selection list of eye-catchers?" He drew the politician's attention to the fact that vaccination is voluntary, and reminded him at the same time that the left did nothing to protect against the epidemic, they only circulated fake news.
"It is not possible to improve the livelihood of Hungarians with parliamentary provocation - the state secretary continued. Jobbik has come a long way, they have become a degraded section of the post-communists. This is a killer soap opera, we knew all along that they were going to get together anyway. In the end, they only signed Ferenc Gyurcsány. /…/ Gábor Vona sold the soul of Jobbik, you didn't even try to get it back. The post-communists and the right-wingers are on the same list, they resembled in everything what they were created against. Guard badge down, red star up. Then you won't need them anymore. Jobbik's support is shrinking, and it will have to take responsibility for that. It will be a difficult moment, and the clown hat won't help either," Dömötör opined.
István Simicskó (KDNP) declared: it is a shame that the left has a candidate like Péter Márki-Zay. "Dangerous thoughts, dangerous statements", only bad actions can be expected from them, said the faction leader. State Secretary Róbert Zsigó emphasized in his answer: the future of Hungarian families is at stake in the election, because the left-wing government impoverished the families, and their program is the same now as before.
