On March 8, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will receive the prime ministers of Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland - the Visegrad countries - in London. In light of the Russian intervention in Ukraine, the European security situation and the relationship between the United Kingdom and the region will be discussed at the summit, Bertalan Havasi, head of the Prime Minister's Press Office, informed MTI.

At the March summit, defense and security issues arising from current European developments will be discussed. Economic relations and the strengthening of cultural ties between the V4 countries and the United Kingdom will be discussed.

Bertalan Havasi added that the leaders will hold several bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit to be held in London.
